FIRST VISIT · ABOUT AN HOUR

Your first visit

About an hour, most of it talking. We look, we take what pictures we need, we clean if there is time, and you leave with a written plan and a price for each part of it.

Quiet waiting area with chairs

The room, explained.

Empty treatment room with the dental chair and overhead light

Headphones, if you want them

Noise-cancelling, with whatever you like playing. Keep them on the whole time.

The screen faces you

X-rays, photos and the plan go up on the screen as we talk. Nothing happens off-screen.

Raise your left hand

That is the stop signal. We pause straight away, every time, no questions.

A weighted blanket

Ask for it. Most people find it calming during longer visits.

The camera we show you

A pen-sized intraoral camera, so you see each tooth exactly as we do.

First visit questions

First visit questions

How long is the first visit?

Plan on about an hour. We talk first, then exam, X-rays if needed, and a cleaning if there is time.

What should I bring?

Your ID, insurance card if you have one, and a list of medications. Forms can be filled in online before you arrive.

It has been years since my last visit. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We see this every week. There is no lecture, just a clear look at where things stand and a plan you can take at your own pace.

Where do I park?

There is free parking in the lot behind the building, and the entrance is the door with the cobalt sign.
